Due to the uncertainty created by the COVID-19 virus we have established a way for you to reserve a spot in camp without any upfront financial commitment. Simply join our FREE Wait List. When camp is confirmed to take place, you will receive an email from us giving you the ability to pay the camp dues. If at the time you still wish to attend camp, you can pay securely online. If your circumstances change and you no longer wish to attend camp, simply let us know. You won’t owe us anything.
2020 SPRING PROSPECT CAMP
SATURDAY, APRIL 11TH
WHO: Current High School Freshmen & Older
REGISTRATION / CHECK-IN: 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM
TIME: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
COST: $150 per Player

Space is limited, so register early!
Campers will enjoy a full day in a collegiate training environment, a WMU Soccer t-shirt, and the opportunity to play in front of college coaches from around the region. College coaches from other institutions ranging from Division 1-3 and NAIA will be present, so each player will get multiple looks from multiple coaches from all levels of college soccer. Last year at this camp there were 20 SCHOOLS IN ATTENDANCE! Space is limited, so register early! Enrollment is open to current high school freshmen and older.
Registration will be limited to the first 124 field players and 16 goalkeepers to register and will be closed after this number is reached.
Goalkeepers need to report PROMPTLY at 9:00 AM for registration and the 45 minute GK specific session starting promptly at 9:15 AM.
LOCATION / FACILITIES
WMU Seelye Indoor Center & Waldo Stadium
The camp will be held at both the Seelye Indoor Center and Waldo Stadium. Both facilities were part of a $ 1.6 Million renovation during the summer of 2013, which included brand new turf surfaces to both. Both surfaces are 100% State of the Art!
9:00 AM - 9:45 AM → Registration at Seelye Center Lobby
9:15 AM → GK Session
10:00 AM → Camp Introduction
10:15 AM - 12:00 PM → Tactical & Technical Training Session
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM → Lunch (On Your Own)
1:00 PM - 5:15 PM → Full Sided Games
5:15 PM - 6:00 PM → All Star Game (Participants to be selected through Panel of Coaches throughout the day.)
We encourage all campers to arrive between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM in order to ensure that all check-in/registration is completed by 10:00 AM for the start of camp.
Please be sure to bring snacks to eat during your breaks. During the full sided games, when your team is not playing there will be adequate time to get away to grab a quick meal should you choose to do so.
Prospects need to bring adequate training apparel: a ball, shinguards, and a pair of firm ground cleats and/or turf cleats (training surface is Field Turf).
Camp will be held both inside of our indoor facility (the Seelye Center) and outside on the football field in Waldo Stadium.
There will be an athletic trainer at ALL scheduled training sessions and games.
Travel, lodging, and meal/lunch arrangements are the sole responsibility of each camper.
The Men’s Soccer 2020 Spring Prospect Camp will be held in Western Michigan's $22 million dollar, state of the art, Seelye Indoor Facility. Parking is available in the lot in front of the Seelye Center (Lot 7) located off of Stadium Drive. Overflow parking will be in LOT 10 just behind the press box at Waldo Stadium. CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY
If a player is forced to pull out of the camp for medical or other reasons, a FULL refund (minus a 6% processing fee) will be granted to the player if notification is given by SATURDAY, APRIL 4th. If players do not withdraw before April 4th a $60 processing fee will be withheld from the refund. If the camp is cancelled due to inclement weather, the closest alternative date to the original camp date will be arranged and the camp will resume as planned on the new date.
